The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) will conduct a press conference in front of the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority's Piers 38/40 facility on Tuesday, May 9 at 10:00 a.m. to support the Delaware River Channel Deepening Project. PRPA supports this announcement because it represents a new, independent voice coming out in support of the 45-foot channel project, not just the usual supporters (as important as they are) that everyone has heard from before.
We encourage you to attend and/or cover this important event. Piers 38/40 is located at the foot of Christian Street on Delaware Avenue. For more information, do not hesitate to give me a call at (215) 426-2600.
